Search Engines Ranking

By Cressida Matthew, February 7, 2010 10:48 am

Every business, small or big, needs to establish its presence online. The best way to gain visibility in the eyes of the user is through search engine rankings. It is vital that your website ranks among the top pages in search engines, for a particular search term. This is where link building comes in.

We incorrectly type the name difference and fully expect the search engine to know that we really meant difference. Basically we are asking the computer to supply the information we want, instead of the information we asked for. In short, users are asking the computer to reason intuitively.

Most people approach SEO with a preconception – or prejudice – about what their best keywords are. They are normally either wholly or partly wrong While 65% of people never click on paid (or sponsored) search results, 35% do. No comprehensive website promotion campaign is therefore complete without a full evaluation of paid search engine marketing.

Courting the crawl explains how to help Google to find your pages and index all of them appropriately, through building the right technical foundations and structure for your new or existing website.

Priming your pages is only a small part of the battle to get top rankings. By landing the links in a well-managed link-building campaign, you can go from also-ran to world champion and establish both the importance and the relevance of your site.

Getting a link from popular blogs is one of the best ways of link building. Whenever you post a comment on a blog, there will be a Name field, and a website field. You can give the link of your website in the website field, and include link building keywords that you are targeting, along with your name. This will ensure a link towards your site from the blog, and the ‘anchor’ text will have your keyword as well.

Search engine optimization is one of the most sought after internet marketing services worldwide. There are several different techniques used by SEO’s around the globe. Some of these techniques have become stale while some of these techniques have expired way back in 2005-2006. A website which is ranking higher in search engine result gets more visitors than those which are not listed on the top pages of search results.

Articles: They’re Not Just for Publishing Anymore…

You’ve “done your time” ghostwriting stories under someone else’s name for their Hollywood script. You’ve taken those pet vet directories about as far as they will go on your writing talents alone. You want more than page rank; you want your articles monetized.

Its not “if” or “when”, its “How many ways can content be monetized?”Approach the challenge no differently than if you were trying to monetize video, scripts or images that you created. For starters, look at your articles purely as content; nothing else. Don’t attach other uses to your articles or you will diminish their worth and give away all of your leverage if you find yourself in a position negotiating a price. Don’t forget, your articles, your writing, your written word is content. A+, top-of-the-line, unique, targeted content.

Now let’s ponder a few points for making money out of articles.

You write an article once, you sell it twice, three times, 25 times, 1013 times. And it’s all perfectly legal. Anything downloadable is, technically, digital. One idea is to package sets of similar themes with enough content that you could offer a monthly subscription service. If the market rate for PLR memberships currently averages 29.99 a month, You have a ton of content. Start a membership. For under a hundred bucks, members get uinique, original articles, timely reports, e-courses and auto-responder series. You had 150 subscribers each pay that $29, so your total is around $4350 a month plus any upsell or cross sells. By further narrowing the niches and topics that you write about, you could easily have two or three “Niche PLR Memberships” going at the same time. How does $29.99 x 500 sound?

You have an opportunity to do what most authors don’t. That’s continuing a dialogue long after your last product launch. Instead of hiding behind your pen, use it as a branch. The more people connect with you the higher the trust level. Since you’re the expert, forget about low-hanging fruit. Write about some expensive products.” We are far more likely to make a purchase from an expert or an authority than we are from an affiliate we’ve never met. Break articles up into auto-responder courses, tip of the day mailers or mini-reports. Any or all of these will automatically put you in contact with your readers more often, even if it’s only through your auto-responder. Every time you send out a tip of the day, another part of an e-course or a mini-report you have the opportunity to introduce complimentary products and services such as article spinners, article directory memberships or an article submission service. A top sponsor ad and a PS ad on every tip of the day you send out equals 760 advertisements per year, per person! In addition, there’s a side benefit. You will be solidifying and growing your list, without spending any additional money or time.

You’ve been a Ghostwriter for years. You just didn’t know it. Depending on the situation, ghostwriters can make a substantial amount of money, especially if the project involves a product launch. And while there may be a penalty for having duplicate content on a web site or blog, there is no penalty at all for putting together everything you created during a six-month period and offering it as a limited edition, limited quantity, “Best of” package. They tried, but they just couldn’t fit evrything you get into one package…they needed two. As you’ve developed your following and earned a reputation as an authority and an expert, a “Best of” package would be a very big, and very lucrative, experience. I personally would never go into a product launch without at least one J.V. partner. You will need help and support with your Internet Marketing campaign. JV Partners, affiliates, and a solid plan to make sure you succeed.

When it comes to monetizing content, this would truly be the icing on the cake. That’s just fine. When you look at that equation, $97 times 1000, it doesn’t even look difficult. So why do so many fail each can buy a whole lot of icing.
